191: Copse \käps\

Winter snow chat commence. Then, beer brag commence. Michael had a Framboise Bourbon Barrel Beer. Uh oh. Was it good? Then we hear the initial results of the SMaSH Ale we developed on the show. Uh oh. Was it good? Jeremy indulges in a Sleek IPA. Next, Apocalypse Now! For no particular reason, we talk chopping a buffalo, Brando, and Redux length. Finally, it is time for the FDR, where a strange foreigner appears.

190: Butt Rock Fossil Record

After yet another computer error scare, we  open up by talking video game speedrunning. Beer brags ahoy, Michael talks the last of the Oktoberfest/Pumpkin beers in his hold with Revolution and Sawatch Nitro Pumpkin. Jeremy brags pub trivia victory and great happy hour prices on Christmas Bomb. Michael then brings back the segment Interview with a Daywalker, where he grills Jeremy on random questions. This time we talk Butt Rock, bows and arrows, and swimming. Finally, after all the malarky, we get into the FDR (with a side of taxidermy).

189: Smooth Option

Jeremy opens up with a tailgate related beer brag, where he had an IPA from Firetrucker. Michael basks in free beer glory, recounting what beers he won during pub trivia. He then challenges Jeremy to answer the questions that he answered to get the brews, leading into a side discussion about Calvin peeing on things and botching name that tune. Next up we have some brews news: Sixpoint joins Southern Tier and Victory, Guinness making a barrel aged variant, and Pabst takes MillerCoors to court. Finally, it is time for the FDR, where in addition to the beer we also discuss the possibility of tipping cows.

We open with Hooks Books, talking about what Jeremy should read for his finale book of the year. We then go into beer brags, talking Clock House Brewing and Michael's Warsteiner haul. We then part the curtain and talk about what happened when procuring Steel Reserve Alloy series. Michael finds a quiz about stout beers that both the hosts try, after which we have our own stout for the FDR.

187: Merlin's Kringle

Jeremy brings up a surprise topic to open up the show, discussing the intersection of professional wrestling, geopolitics, and murder. From there, we move on to the regular scheduled beer brags. Michael is still chipping away at Oktoberfests due to a two week illness. Meanwhile, Jeremy is making a kringle and bragging about Big Grove brews, one yella and one red. Next up, we got some brews news, with some good news out of Off Color Brewing. Finally, we get into the FDR where a nitro stout ventures into unusual territory for its kind.

185: Yams. I Want Yams.

Heellllllloo. Welcome to the show. Jeremy starts off with an Oktoberfest beer brag, talking about Reunion Brewing's Oktoberfest offering. Then he reminiscences back to Simpler Times, the beer, in a foray into the Trader Joe's store brand offerings. Michael retorts with a brag on Central Waters' Oktoberfest. He then provides a brief overview of some brews from his trip to the Upper Peninsula, including Bell's Oktoberfest, Breakfast Stout, Ore Dock Brewing, Blackrocks Brewery, and a coconut brown (coconut brown). After all beer talk, we switch over to coffee talk, as it was vital to Jeremy's success in the Film Scream horror movie marathon. Jeremy summarizes the films and his experience. Finally, we move on to the FDR, where a beer that was "set up for failure", manages to impress. Within the conversation, we postulate a bourbon apple pie and recall that time we all had cigars.
