156: Hyper Elite Horserace

We botched the intro. It happens. We recover by going into beer brags, where Jeremy has an imperial stout while waiting for a movie to start. Meanwhile, Michael sampled a variety of brews from Fair State Brewing. Next, we hit the Brews News hard. Cedar Rapids apparently has great water for beer, the Juicy IPA is now an official style of the Brewers Association, a New Belgium releases a new brew with that tastes like that good kind kind, without any of the kind kind in it. Finally, we get into the FDR, which takes a turn for the worse after some deliberation.

After a subdued intro, we get into beer brags. Jeremy has a root beer barrel aged brew and a new IPA that is out of this world. Michael has a German beer from Schnieder Weiss that exceeded expectations. Next, we Dubbel Down on Brews News with an article about a scandal surrounding a hard-to-get beer and the newly released top 50 craft breweries of 2018. After much discussion and plans to drink a chelada, we get into the FDR, where a strange IPA turns out to be not as strange as anticipated. Finally, we sound the affirmative Dancehall Airhorn to celebrate Jeremy's tenure. Not to be confused with the airhorn of dissent.

Next, it is FDR time, which ironically is the least beer-centric portion of the show because we talk about ska and snowboarding and stuff like that.

Next, we kick off our 3rd ever Blind Man Birthday Dance. Each host brings a beer and the other tries it, blindly. Michael brings a prototypical, authentic English bitter, while Jeremy brings something completely different. How will each one stack up?
